How do I know the amount of meat generated for the live bird ?
There is no rocket science involved in calculating the amount of meat generated per kg of live bird.

Live weight / 1.4 will give you the net with skin weight.
So ex 2 Kg of live weight will generate 2/1.4= 1.42 kg of with skin weight.
Is this antibiotic free chicken ?
No. In fact no chicken in India can claim to be antibiotic free. Antibiotics are similar to vaccines given to children to fight diseases like polio, TB, etc. Without the antibiotics the chicken would get coccidioses, salmonellosis, influenza and die within a few days. Anyone in India claiming their chicken is antibiotic free is not telling the truth and fooling the public.
If you still think it is possible to produce antibiotic free chicken in India, please ask the company claiming so to produce any certificate that has inspected their farms and confirmed that there is no usage of antibiotics in their farms. The certifying authority for food in India is CFTRI.
How is your chicken different from the ones purchased at local stores?
We purchase chicken from registered broiler companies like IB, Lotus, Vencob and not local unregistered farms. a)This ensures that only antibiotics approved by the Government are administered to the birds.
b) No growth promoters which have been banned by globally are administered to the birds.
So the customers can be assured that they are eating healthy food and not being fleeced by using jazzy terms.
